Two Breath Meditations

In the breath meditations, I use the term “equanimity”. Since recording these guidances, I’ve changed my terminology. I now use the term “balance” instead, which you’ll hear a bunch about in Brightmind. So when you hear “equanimity” in these guidances, think “balance”.

Decision Making Q&A

I suggest listening to the first meditation in Brightmind, and then listening to this Q&A session. The first meditation in Brightmind is a decision making practice. Prior to this Q&A—which was recorded during an online workshop—I had lead the group in the same decision making practice. So a bunch of the questions are about the decision making practice and you’ll get more out of this if you've tried the practice yourself.

Reading: The What, Why, and How of Mindfulness

In Brightmind, I talk a lot about the What, What, and How of Mindfulness. I think it’s a really good way to orient yourself while learning something complex. In this article, I flesh out the What, Why, and How framework in detail. Reading this piece, in addition to listening to the guidances in Brightmind, combines to form a sturdy understanding of practice.
